 Bordeaux Cheick Diabaté is available for selection having returned to action in a friendly against Eibar last weekend, but the striker is unlikely to start against Montpellier.
Andre Poko will serve the first of his two-match ban this weekend, while Maxime Poundjé will only miss this weekend's fixture due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Diego Rolan may be unfit to spearhead the attack having only returned on Friday from South America, which may benefit Enzo Crivelli, who returns from suspension.
 Montpellier Long-term absentees Morgan Sanson, Jamel Saihi, Kévin Berigaud and Geoffrey Jourdren will miss the meeting with Bordeaux through injury.
In addition, the away side will most likely travel to South-West France without strikers Souleymane Camara and Mustapha Yatabaré, who are reportedly still recovering from respective muscular injuries.
The polyvalent Bryan Dabo, as well as teammate Ramy Bensebaini, will be suspended this weekend and may be replaced by Mathieu Deplagne and William Rémy into the side.
 Youngsters Jean Deza and Quentin Cornette are Montpellier's only options available up front at present.
