Dijon are at the top of the table in French Ligue 2 after 12 games but their form has began to slip and they haven't won a match in their last 3 outtings. Given this slip in form and with their sights set on promotion to Ligue 1, the league has to be their priority at this point, rather than a cup that eventually will see them matched up with the top sides of Ligue 1 if they advance. Reims are mid table in Ligue 1 and also are in poor form of late, but seeing that they have less ambitions in Ligue 1, they will be motivated to make a Cup run, and should be confident against a lower division side.
