 Swansea Garry Monk will be hoping Andre Ayew can recover from injury in time to make the grade for the reception of Stoke. Kyle Naughton could also miss out through personal reasons which saw him skip their game against Spurs before the international break.
Angel Rangel would start, if this is the case again here. Ki Sung-yeung is expected to continue in midfield at the expense of Jack Cork. Stoke Stoke City will still be without captain Ryan Shawcross as he continues his recovery from back injury, but Mark Hughes will be have both Marc Wilson and Xherdan Shaqiri available. Shay Given is set to miss out on the trip here, while Mame Biram Diouf will also miss the trip to south Wales on compassionate leave.
Xherdan Shaqiri is expected to come back into the side, which could see Jonathan Walters continue to spearhead the attack with Diouf a serious doubt.
