Chelsea's season took another turn for the worse on Saturday when they were beaten by West Ham in a controversial affair at Upton Park.
Not only did the champions lose to their high-flying London rivals 2-1, which pushed them down into 15th place in the Premier League table, but the defeat also saw Chelsea lose their heads after Nemanja Matic, Jose Mourinho and his assistant Silvino Louro were sent off during the game.
Mourinho chose to ignore the press after the loss, and has since seen himself become the favourite to be the next top-flight manager to lose his job - despite steering Chelsea to the Premier League title in May.
Should the Blues lose to Stoke in the Capital One Cup fourth round on Tuesday, the Portuguese's long-term future at Stamford Bridge will once again be brought into question but a win will relieve the pressure on the club and their coach.
