Vaduz didn’t start the new season on the right foot, however their poor results could be justified due to busy schedule and Europa League qualifiers till now. Now, after exclusion from European competition, team is expected to start playing better and detach themselves from bottom of the table. After four matches played, the club has only two points earned. Most recently, they come from a 1:1 draw at home against Sion.

It was obvious that the players had some fatigue, lacking freshness from the start and generally, were outplayed in that match but still earned a point. They were threatened many times and were lucky to open the scoreline against the flow of the game in 71st minute when Constanzo scored goal, however failed to keep the lead and were equalized only two minutes later via Carlitos. Apart from lack of points till now, biggest worry are their not convincing performances as the team generally doesn’t remind on last years group at all. Today against Grasshoppers they surely will be chasing their first victory, as their coach has said. Midfielder Kristian Kuzmanovic (0/0) is injured, same as left back Franz Burgmeier (0/0) and forward Pascal Schurpf (1/0). Striker Manuel Sutter (1/0) is also sidelined, while striker Mauro Cabalerro (3/0) is also facing injury problem and probably won’t play.
